Quoting Amelia Margaret:" This makes me soooo mad. Even my MFM was this way and even when I asked for cervical length checks he ... [snip!] ... length checks he said there was no need to do them so early. I now know I was dilating then and my water broke at 15 weeks."
It makes me sad and mad too. It is sad women have to lose babies before anything is done. I was lucky my Drsistened to me and checked me with my second pregnancy. I now will always be labled high risk. I feel that cervical length checks should be mandatory via ultrasound. every two weeks or so from 14-24 weeks to catch it for everyone right away. Save families the heart ache of loss.
