re: Abortion without consent?

I think that the child should be able to terminate the pregnancy without consent. That being said if a ten year old needs an abortion the doctor should have a duty of care to alert the parents and authorities...
If 10 11 12 year olds are pregnant theyre is likely rape involved and it needs to be investigated in the best interests of the child.

I honestly think it may be best if the 10-year-old could get the abortion without a parent's consent. 'Cause you never know what kind of background this girl and her family are coming from. :/

that's how I look at it, and I would add if your under 18 daughter doesn't want you to know, then they probably don't want your support :/

My mom would have never let me have an abortion, and her and my stepdad would never have let me live with them if I was pregnant. I would have been forced to take care of a baby I wasn't prepared or capable for, or give the baby up for adoption which is very painful...
