HOW? Being as young as you both are, you don't make nearly enough to support a child. That alone is obvious enough. SO makes a good amount of money per year, and still couldn't support myself on his income alone, let alone a baby. Hence why I have to work full time. Are you working full time? Making over minimum wage? Do you have savings? Do you both have cars? Can you both pay rent, electric, water, food, etc all on your own? As well as health care for your LO? Or do you plan on doing this 50% on your own, and leaning on your family OR the government to cover the rest?

Doubtful. And that's not assuming... that's, again, pointing out the very obvious.

I went to a charter school too. Guess what? Still didn't finish. 4.0 GPA when I was 16. Try keeping that up at 17 with a baby! So you work daytime? How are you going to go to school? He works night time? So, you'll have no help at night when you're up trying to get ready for school, trying to do homework, by yourself? at 17?

You obviously have a lot to think about. Don't do this to yourself.

If you went to charter school how do you not know charter school is only one day a week? you go only one day to turn in your work if you need tutoring you go more but I do not so only have one full day a week

my work schedule is built around my school day and my school day is from 8-3:30 and I do my homework by myself all the time lol why would I need help? with a baby might be difficult but we will see, will get my assignments done regardless

I do not know what kind of charter school? you went to but in my hometown it is built to make it so that kids who pass the exam who can teach themselves can be responsible to do online classes and home assighnments get the luxury to do so

I am barely in class thank god and again my grades are just fine and will stay that way

sorry for typos on my phone ..

Because not all Charter schools are the same? My school definitely wasn't just one day a week. It was all online,r but we still had to go in every day.
After the first week of school, I was already on an attendance contract because I was sick, baby was sick, and I couldn't put him down for 30 minutes to finish an assignment on my computer....

And I meant getting ready for school, doing homework, etc. with a newborn baby. When "baby dad" isn't there.
How about cooking? Cleaning? Laundry allll day long?

God help you.

I realize it is not the same, but lots of charter schools are one day a week... which right there will make things easier

god help me alittle dramatic don't you think? I have a great man in my life you are assuming and I do have great people in my life and if I have to do it myself I will I do not have it all figured out not going to pretend to

again do not know what charter you went to but mine is very flexible so luckily my school is not an issue and for a young person have a great job and a bf with a great job

I get since you and your "babies dad" were teen parents you are just trying to offer advice but again we will be okay

thanks again..

Just because the actual assignments/school happens one day a week... doesn't mean you don't have homework THROUGHOUT the week.

And I can barely understand what you're saying. You're speaking in broken English. But I guess that's because you're 16 and have yet to finish high school English.

And you shouldn't want to just 'be okay'. You should want to be GREAT. Perfect. Well-off. I still don't understand why you just want to get by, instead of providing the absolute best life possible for your child. I don't get it. You want your child to live a mediocre life and it's sad.

I've been on BG with my phone before. Doesn't excuse the piss poor grammar skills.

Like another girl said, it's going to be damn near impossible to do a week's worth of assignments with a crying baby. You're assuming the baby will be perfect and sleep when you want them to sleep, and only be up when you're ready for them to be up. What if they have colic and scream ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT? Then what about your school work? Because at night, your SO won't be there to help. And you'll be tired from being up all day with a screaming baby. You're gonna lose your patience. And being only 16, your mental/emotional capacity to handle such stress is very low.

And you never answered my question about why you want your child to live just a mediocre life, instead of waiting to give them the best possible life. Answer that.
