Mama's with stretched lobes.

I'm currently at 5/8ths. I have attached lobes, so I planned on stopping at this size. Well, after sizing up... about a week later I noticed the back of my left lobe was sore. I figured it was from sizing up, no biggie. Then it kept hurting, so I asked SO to look at it and he said it was scabbing. Er? Okay... so I kept cleaning it, making sure it wasn't irritated, blah blah blah. Then I bought different plugs... thinking it was the silicone that was irritating my ear, but that didn't help. The back of the plug is indenting on the back of my lobe. I think it's because my lobes are so little (because they're attached).


^ the bottom of my ear.. SO pulled my lobe up to get a better picture, but when my lobe is down... that part is right next to the side of my head. So I put in some new plugs that are longer.. gonna see if that helps.

SO says he thinks I'll have to size down. For one, because I didn't have an issue until I went up to this size. For two, my lobes are thin.

Any advice? I know this is a long shot, but figured I'd try.

It's a blow out take your plugs out and go down 2 sizes and wait for it to heal. Beware it might not heal* you let too much time pass.

It's not a blow out. The wrinkles inside my actual lobe are just wrinkles. I don't use tapers.. my ears have naturally stretched since 0g. That little spot is literally an indention. But I wasn't sure if it's because my lobes are just so little, so the plug is rubbing against the back of my ear/neck... resting there and causing the indention/irritation.

I thought I saw a blow out nvm. You probably need to go down a size. Sorry I'm out of it. I only get those if the plugs rub on the back and aren't long enough.

That's my problem, too. The plugs are rubbing against the back. SO had bought some special length plugs a few weeks ago (but he doesn't like them) and they're longer than the standard plugs. So I put 'em in a little bit ago and the back of the plug is like... over the indention. So it's not rubbing that spot anymore. My ear already feels a lot better. I just thought it was so weird... I hate having little lobes  

no help, but this reminded me if some sprinkle plugs I have in my amazon cart, next size up ^.^ I think it's silly that I'm so iffy about going just one bigger.

What size? I was iffy about going this big. I was at 9/16ths and kind of wanted to stay there... but that size is an in-between size, so not many plug sizes available.

You probably need to stop. I'm just saying this. Your going to pull the guage extremely close to your face

I planned on stopping here lol. I'd love for them to be bigger, but... these bebe lobes prevent that

Bummer! I just know, because our roommate has funky looking ears, he's at like a half inch. I'm at a 7/16th and it's then me a year. I'm afraid to go bigger.. but.. I will.

I'm at 00 currently, so 7/16th is next up I believe, it's been a bit since I've actually been on amazon. I've got ginormous detached lobes, so I could probably go really big, but I doubt I'll go up more than two sizes.
