Online Dating Red Flag?

So I've been doing a little online dating... it's a paid site, so identities are more verifiable. Anyway, I've been talking to this seemingly nice man, Dean. The only problem is that his bio really bugs me. Every single time I read his profile, I automatically go on alert, but I don't know why! Can you see something here that might be off?

Wait, don't delete, I'm actually a nice attorney! LOL. I am 6' 3" tall, 210 lbs, muscular, fit, with a full head of black hair. I earned a law degree and an MBA and am now involved in real estate. Having no children of my own, I would treat my companion's as my own as I love children. I'm a gentleman who is genuinely interested in seeking a great woman for potential, meaningful relationship. I am educated, successful, attractive, athletic, humorous, romantic, and playful seeking a great woman of like qualities for a potential long-term relationship. I volunteer by tutoring disabled children. I love to go out on the town for a romantic night of dining and dancing. I am secure professionally, financially, emotionally, and otherwise. However, I am also warm, forgiving, and rather easy-going. Since perfection is not exactly realistic for any of us, I am more concerned with a big heart and a willingness to work at making a deep, lasting relationship. Superficiality, arrogance, and cruelty are not part of my nature. Great companionship and feeling connected are truly as good as it gets! If you desire a warm, meaningful relationship, I would love to hear from you-I promise you might just be glad you did! Who knows what may come! Common interests loom larger than perfection in terms of finding Ms. Right. I love music, movies, motorcycles, dining, and travel, especially to California and Hawaii! I sincerely hope to hear from any interested eligible women regardless of children, age, or size. One more thing-What do you call 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A great start! LOL.

He seems to really like kids... The way he keeps throwing it out there is odd to me

I don't trust anyone. So, personally, I think the whole thing is a lie. He sounds too good to be true. But I'm paranoid. Lol.

See, that's what I kept thinking, but I verified with online business listings and he is actually a lawyer and does volunteer with kids... I really, really don't trust this... but there is no evidence he's not real. He's definitely not meeting Alex until I'm positive he's not a psycho or something!

Eh. Still, I'd go with my gut feeling if I were you.

If you already verified it there is no harm in exchanging a couple messages back and forth.

See his messages are little better than his profile, but he's still very proper and I'm not sure if it's just me being paranoid and he's just an elitist, or if I should put on the black list. lol

Meh, Idk. I'd probably go with my gut feeling.

I get so nervous when I think about if DH and I ever split because I already had commitment issues prior to him and I feel like a divorce and having DS would make it worse. Actually, I know it would simply because I have my son now.

It's a copy and paste message he sends everyone. Of course he's going to put a lot of thought and sugar coating into it

See, I have the same thing. My ex and I were together for three years and had a wedding date and everything... I even had my dress. After our relationship I was single and fine for a year and a half before my family and friends started bugging the crap outta me about "getting back out there". I had to work through a whole bunch of issues to just go have drinks with someone. Ugh... intimacy was even worse, but at least there's no chance of me becoming a slut! lol

IMO it sounds like maybe he is searching out a less than wealthy single mom.. And volunteers with disabled children. He could genuinely like children. Or he could be a creep. Honestly, my creep radar was going off a little.

He's not bad looking. But looks aren't really a judge of character KWIM. Looking at his surroundings a clothes- he probably has a decent income.

Have you googled the picture? He makes himself sound way too good to be true.
