Ruptured ovarian cyst

I went to the hospital today because I thought I had appendicitis, but it ended up being a ruptured ovarian cyst. I know they're pretty common but i don't really know anything about them. If you've had one rupture before, how long did your pain last? I got 20 Vicodin but wasn't expecting for them to give me that many. I didn't think it lasted very long?

depends ive had pain that lasted a couple days from one. it seems the bigger they are the longer the pain sticks around. and it probably depends on how fast your body clears away the fluids from the cyst

I've had many cysts burst and the pain usually lasts less then 24 hours. The larger the cyst the more the pain. I have a very large one right now it's gonna be awesome
