Mirena possibly failing and pregnant?

So about four days ago I got my mirena removed because we discovered it was 3/4 of the way out already and was just sitting in my cervix. I was having a lot of pain and bleeding randomely since I got it in and we've wondered if it hasn't been in the right position for awhile. Anyhow..

A day before I got it removed I noticed my breasts have been super tender, which was wierd since I haven't had that even with my periods since having my son. And I've been peeing more frequent.

When I went to the ER and they took my mirena out, they did a urine test to test for pregnancy and it was negative.

But my breasts are still super sensitive, still peeing alot, and I'm not due to have my period for at least two more weeks.

Any suggestions? Should I wait two weeks and if I don't get my period do a test?

Im surprised they didnt do bloods to check for pregnancy.

Id take a test in a few weeks or go back and get bloods done.

I had the IUD dislodge like that and the DR did bloods to check for pregnancy ASAP.

Thank gosh i wasn't pregnant though!

They might have done a blood test and didn't tell me, but they definately told me the urine said no, so maybe they didn't? I need to set up a doctor appointment with my OB to discuss other options of birthcontrol...

But im really scared. Although unrealisticly I've really wanted to have another baby, DEFINATELY not the right time at all. I was hoping to wait the five years and try after my mirena was removed  

I was scared I had an ectopic pregnancy from the pain, but they concluded I wasn't from my urine..

I wouldn't worry too much.

I did however get another IUD inserted & fell pregnant with that LOL!

It was in place perfectly during the ultrasound and now i've got a 22mo and 4mo because it failed

Oh man!!! It would be my luck to get pregnant while on the mirena -___- my first baby was a birth control baby. Grumble grumble.

  I've been pregnant on the pill, mini pill and IUD (all used/taken properly)

B/C sucks!

Im sure their failure rates are just on the packaging to make us buy it/use it LOL!!
