haha I definitely wouldn't ask for them back! That would be worse then her selling them! I just thought she could help someone else out.

lol. Well in a way she kinda is but is making more of a profit. I would see why you are upset though. This isn't the first post on bg I've seen recently about women doing that. I definitely give more stuff away than I should but I also don't wanna end up on hoarders

Lmao, right? I had a friend who I gave my not really used Moby wrap to because she told me how much she wanted one, but couldn't afford it. She turned around a sold it a week later along with the Bumbo I gave her. I didn't care about the Bumbo, but I really thought long and hard about the wrap before handing it over. But, smurf happens. I couldn't figure the thing out anyhow, lol.

haha thats too funny that you would say that! Hoarders has made me into such a purger! I gave away all my stuff from my first and totally regretted it when I found out I was pregnant with my second boy. This time I gave this girl most of it but saved a few boxes for myself just incase.

That is exactly what happened to me, but I didn't think about a second baby until DS was 2, lol.

Since we're talking about hoarders....ugh, my cousin is the worst! Okay, maybe not the worst, but high up there on my list. lol

She finally sold her daughters baby clothes, her daughter is now 10. Whem DS was born she told me to hold off on buying a stroller and car seat (at that time I didn't know that car seats expired). So when my mom brought me the set I just kind of stared at it for a bit, then told DH that we needed to buy a new one. The wheels were all messed up and the car seat was so messed up.

She talked the set up so much, but failed to mention that she basically just tossed it around from storage unit to storage unit for 8 years.

OMGOD  8 years?! WTF. Can you imagine being given something that expired like a decade ago lol. Sounds like when my DH made muffins the other day and he told me they tasted weird. Come to find out, the smurfing box expired in August of 2009!!! hahaha and NO, I am not an old muffin box hoarder

Omg! I don't get hoarders! I had a good friend when I was little and their house was always really messy and dirty and they kept everything. When I first saw hoarders i was like   They were intense hoarders I can't believe my mom let me go over there so much!

Dude, my family is full of hoarders. They're not like nasty, keeping trash hoarders, but like "Oh, this is a cute knick knack! Oh and look it's on sale! I need it, I must buy it and put in on my shelf that is about to break because I already have too many smurfing knick knacks on it as it is!" kind of hoarders. lol

But, my cousin is a nasty hoarder. She has clothes. "nice clothes", from when she was 20 (she's 33, now) that she will not get rid of because they "might fit" again. Dude, they're done. They're out of style and some are dry rotted. Her old basement was huge, it was actually one of those apartment style basements, and it was covered in boxes and my little cousins toys. She also hoards food, which drives me nuts. Her kitchen is always foul. Bleh!

When her and her husband came to visit me her husband literally searched my home for my junk. He asked if I had a storage unit and I was like...err, no? He also told me that I didn't need to steam clean or buy candles for their visit. I had to explain to him that I steam clean my home every month and candles are lit daily, don't feel special. lol

If I haven't used something in 6 months then it's either thrown away or given away.

I was that kid with that family, lol. My grandmother, my mom, my aunt, and my cousin. The only one who is nasty is my cousin.

I rarely had people over my house as a kid because it was always junked up, we had walk ways through the junk. I remember when I had a friend from middle school come over after I cleaned and she asked me if I really cleaned.  

After that I didn't invite anyone over. My dad was a hoarder, too, but he kept his smurf in a room.

Awh thats so sad! I loved going to my friends house it smelt weird but we were aloud to play with anything and never had to clean up our messes. I remember she used to let us play in her spices and make weird concoctions. My mom was the complete opposite. Shes kind of a hoarder now though lol Lots of older people I know now kind of are..

I truly hope that I do not become one, lol. I wouldn't say I'm a clean freak or that I'm super crazy about organization, but I keep a clean home...it's just lived in. Toys are in nearly every room, I'm constantly picking up random Cheerios, and some times our laundry gets piled up when I slack off for a few days.

I'd have to say I was extremely lazy in high school. Like, my room was horrible! Soda cans, clothes, and make up was sprawled about, lol.

I was just rarely home. If I wasn't in school I was working, if I wasn't working I was out with friends. So more or less I just slept in there and got ready in there, I was always in a rush to get out of the house.

I lived right across the street from my high school and my house was always where people went to skip. I smoked a lot of weed and there were always people eating and stuff in my room lol.

Haha! I was exactly a 12 minute walk from my high school so I'd come back home and sleep under my computer desk with a pile of clothes on top of me just in case my parents came home, and went in my room. Surprisingly by the time I started smoking pot on a regular basis I kept my apartment clean, lol.
