I wouldn't "troll" anyone. I'm not that kinda chick, I was just curious at the impressions people get from weddings. And it's pretty clear to me that everyone is judging everyone.

My cousin was down south somewhere an witnessed two people getting married in Walmart. No joke.


I loved every second of my wedding, I would do it again, everyone always complements me on how fun it was. Even though I had a wedding my kids still have college funds.

No, I don't think that at all. This was my second marriage and I WANTED to get married at the courthouse for the intimacy. We ended up getting married at our home with close friends and family because that's what DH wanted and this is his first marriage. We may not be rich, but we certainly aren't poor by any means. (DH is a chiropractor and I'm an RN). Sometimes people want simplicity. My parents were married at the courthouse 38 years ago so it worked for them...

Nope. I honestly don't care how other people get married.
I don't want to plan a wedding because it is a hell of a lot of stress that I don't need on top of everything. I don't have a family with money to pay for my wedding, and I would rather spend $5000+ on a house or a new car for my family. I would also like to use the money for a lawyer so SO can adopt DD.

We have Christian bookstores here. I'm sure there are other Christian stores. Chick-Fil-A is owned by Christian people. And they PREFER to hire Christians.

I'm being serious. I think that courthouse weddings are for people who don't care enough to include their family and friends or that they're so poor that they shouldn't even be considering marriage until they save up enough money to afford a better wedding.
