It was....it's such a special place to me, and being married there had so much emotion involved.

Our families were PISSED that they didnt get to be there, but we dont care. lmao

YAY for my courthouse wedding when my fiancee gets back from working in DC for 6 months (which by the way was my idea). Id rather spend 5-10 thousand dollars on our children, bills, or student loans. To each their own though.

We didnt have a courthouse wedding but it was super laid back and awesome. DH's best friend got ordained and married us. We spent 15 bucks on a little bouquet, he bought a white dress shirt, I bought a white dress from Ross for 12. Got married barefoot on the sand.

Instead of going to the courthouse, have some get ordained and marry you, or spend 50-75 bucks and find an officiant that will travel to where ever and find a pretty place to do it.

Omg.... DH's ex called me a moron saying I spelled Fiance wrong when speaking about him. She said "go back to school, it's 2 E's, you moron". I about died.

You have no idea. He lived with his family the whole time they were together (off and on for 9 years). She dumps him for not being "independent" enough or having enough ambition. Meets me, gets married, has baby, buys house, new car, etc. She's still bitterly single for the last 4 years. I know this because DH's sister, mom, and sister in law all talk to her still. UGH

WELL, in her defense, I'd be bitter too if I spent 9 years trying to get my boyfriend to move out of his family's house and marry me and whatnot and then SUDDENLY he does it all with the new girlfriend. I mean, clearly there were issues there if she couldn't motivate him to do those things with her. But I'd be bitter about it too. Lol.

I have to see her allllll over FB. we have like.. 19 mutual friends. We've made our peace, but she was so rude to me telling me I ws jealous because I'm "tied down by my kid" (I only had zoe at the time and she was 14  ) and I was too old to go back to school and I would just fail anyways, yadda yadda yadda. I still hate her face.
