If you are married, how long was your engagement?

8 months and got married at a courthouse.

Two years.

Not married yet and I have been engaged for a year and two months. We will probably be married for another year or two, unless I can convince SO to get courthouse married.

Almost 2 years.

But we were together for 4 years before that.

We knew we were going to get married for 3 1/2 weeks before we got married but actually engaged was probably like 3 days.

SO and I were talking and he was joking around saying a 6 year engagement isn't bad. I think 6 years is a long time.

Six months but we were together more than 2.5 years before we got engaged. We wanted a fall wedding and didn't want to wait a year and a half.

not married yet, but so far SO and i have been engaged for 7 years. we're not rushing to tie the knot. i'm just happy to be with him. the only reason i WANT to get married is if God forbid anything ever happen to one of us, i want the other to have a say in what happens to the other. we know what each other want, and i want our wishes upheld.

this. except 9 for us. he was gone for those 9 months. got married the day he got home.

1 year 6 months

5 years and had been together 10 years by the time we got married

9 months. We got engaged in October and married in July.
