Girl hell no! I'd still go to a hotel for the night, and he should be cleaning that up.

That not right to drag the kids in and it sounds like he is rather controlling.

This is 100% your decision, but I'd be rethinking a lifetime of that.

Yikes. I don't really know what to say. I am sorry that you are going through this. I wouldn't marry someone that treated me that way. But, I do think it's possible to love someone, and just not know how to show it, or to make a REALLY poor choice in judgement. This is something that definitely needs to be addressed, because you are right about him not doing hateful things to you. He shouldn't, and it was WRONG. I would try to talk to him again. I would clean it up and sit him down and just tell him "Look, this can't happen again. It was wrong for you to approach it that way, and I won't put up with it again." Leave it at that. If he fights back or anything just let him know that you will leave before you go through that kind of nonsense again.
