I'd leave. The contract thing might work, but only if you have it made official (notarized, I guess? or put into a seperation agreement/divorce decree) and paid directly to the people themselves.

He hasn't said that, but if I stay at my dad's longer than a couple hours on weekends he'll get irritated. I out of the blue went to my mom's house in South Carolina with the kids one day while he was at work. He was not happy.

Im so sorry hes being that way. i hope you have a good day tomorrow and i think you should just go ahead and take your daughter out anyways. hes not the boss of you and thats both of yours daughter. maybe you should try writing him a letter telling him exactly how you feel idk sometimes me and SO do that it helps when the other one is being unreasonable. good luck mama and please dont let him ruin your time with your daughter

Also, I forgot to mention that I am about 85% sure he's cheating on me. Again. He's been absorbed in his phone lately and getting texts at weird hours like late at night or early in the morning. He gets up at 7 every morning and a few minutes later he'd get a text. He told me it was the wrong number and he didn't know why they wouldn't stop texting. Then one day he didn't have to go in until late so he slept late. He didn't receive a text at the usual time, but got one not long after he got up.
His text messages go off all the time. He rarely texts anyone but me.
