Underwear. My daughter calls all underwear panties.

Panties for girls and underwear for boys.

Although my mom had DS saying panties for a while in reference to his underwear. *SMH*

I say underwear. I think it's a catch-all term. And then women have panties, thongs, etc. while men can have briefs, boxers, etc. But its all underwear.

I've also been known to refer to it as "la ropa interior"
