Had an ultrasound today...

And the tech couldn't tell us what the sex of the baby is (it gets included in the report sent to my OB) but I was peaking when she looked and Im almost positive I seen boy parts!!  

why couldnt they tell you?

Could it be possible it could have been the cord?

Generally speaking they don't in Canada, they leave that up to the OB

she is due in April so shes well over 20 weeks probably. I'm sure it was boy parts

That's the basic idea, it's thought that parents in some cultures would abort based on gender and therefore it's left up to the OB who has a relationship with the parents and would know if it's appropriate info to share, whereas the tech wouldn't know. All outdated reasoning IMO.

When going over paper work my doctor asked me if I want to know the sex when he finds out so I am hoping he tells me! Lol
