Was it hard for you to start? Like getting out of breath easy, etc.

Awesome. I've been working out for a while, but running is really hard for me.

well i use to weigh 206 pounds, when i first went on my diet yes it was. i would run out of breath, wasn't able to exercise long.. but i did it every night, and once you start doing it and continue it you'll get use to it very quickly. i lost 90 pounds doing yoga, which i think is great(:

It is hard. I just make sure I drink water. I usually throw in a crystal light energy mix. I started cutting out processed food and found I have a ton more energy.

Congratulations!!!! I'm not over weight, mostly wanting to do it to stay in shape and because it's good for you. I knew yoga was great but I didn't know you could lose that much just through yoga.. That's amazing.

What do you consider processed food? A lot of people have different views on it. Some people believe frozen vegetables are even processed, some think just boxed stuff is. Etc.

thank you!(: and yes i totally understand, im trying to get back into shape after having my son. yes, i honestly didn't know either, but i started doing it. i really got into it, and would do it everyday for 30 mins to an hour and it really burns the calories! plus of course eating right along with it too, which im sure played a big role in the weight loss as well haha(:

Oh yeah, of course.
That's really cool though. I've been wanting to get into yoga. I'm thinking about joining a class, I'm not sure if I could do it at home. I usually get bored of that.

I do not considered frozen veg processed. I cut out things like canned food, hamburger helper, chicken nuggets fish sticks. I make my own chicken nuggets and my own hamburger helper. The only thing i eat out of a can now is tuna fish. Other than that. I switched to low fat dairy. I use almond milk as much as possible. Buying leaner hamburger, trimming the fat off of my meats before cooking them and removing the skin from chicken before baking it (that made me want to cry a bit actually). Oh and I switched my family to turkey bacon which was actually pretty well received from my meat and potatoes SO.

For me yes, it's slowly taking time for me to build up endurance

I started running about 7 months ago. I used to be into working out and running a lot and then kids came and I just couldn't find the time. When I first started I couldn't even run a mile at pace of close to 10 min/mile! Now I can run a mile in 6:45, but I run a slower pace and run 2-3 miles a day. I'm still out of breath at the end but that's not a bad thing lol.

Doesn't matter how good of shape I am in, I have never been able to run more than 1/2 mile without chest pains.

ETA- I do a 1-hour weight lifting class 3x a week (Body Pump), 30 min. core training 2x a week (CXWORX), 1-hour Zumba 2x a week, run about 3 miles total a week, and then I swim about 3000 yards a week. I HATE running, but I do it because I feel like it keeps my legs from getting tight. I have to do it in 1/4 mile chunks though.
