aspergers syndrome

I have aspergers syndrome and no one can help me. Not even therapists. They make me feel worse.

Help you with what? It's not something that can be cured, it's something you will have for the rest of your life.

my father in law does. he hates admitting it but what can he do? my in laws think my oldest son has it too

I get obsessive thoughts that cause severe anxiety and distress. People yell at me for having obsessive interests and hobbies.

Do you take any medications?

maybe try a new therapist and some anxiety meds. Lots of people with aspergers live totally normal lives and are often extremely smart. concentrate on your strengths!

Well, maybe you need to switch them up or take a higher dose.

Maybe try a new therapist? I know there are groups for adults with Aspergers, at least there are around here. Might be worth looking into? Someone in a similar position might be able to give you better coping tools. Also, if the medication isn't working, make sure your Dr knows that. They might be able to help by changing the dosage or type. Not all medication works for all people.
