boy vs girl pregnancy
posted 15th Feb
So far my pregnancies have been complete opposite. I have two boys and now im pregnant with my girl! My pregnancies with my boys were so easy, almost no pain, no sickness at all aside from some gas and constipation, they were laid back and didnt hurt me at all. With this one i had all day sickness, sore big boobs (didnt happen with my boys), aches, pains, cramps, headaches, crazy leg and back pain, and she is sooo strong she hurts me several times a day. I like to joke and say shes busting out.
It is fun to feel the difference.
How different were your boy vs girl pregnancies and was your girl a lot stronger than your boy!?
sorry for my typing i did not check it,

Mine didn't really depend on girl/boy.
My first two kids (1 girl, 1 boy) were both fairly easy pregnancies. I had minimal morning sickness... slightly worse with my daughter- but both pregnancies I did well with.
My last two, however. This last one was miserable. I felt like crap all the time. I had horrible heart burn, cramps, bleeding, nausea, high blood pressure.... and now this pregnancy I am feeling just as worse as last time. My last baby was a boy and I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be a girl.

My pregnancy with my son was A LOT easier than the pregnancy with this baby (girl) and DD1.

I dont really buy into the different symptoms = different gender.
But with DD I was throwing up constantly and didnt gain weight.
With DS I never threw up and I gained 60 lbs

I'm pregnant with a boy this time and it has been way worse than my first pregnancy with a girl. It sucks.

My first pregnancy was a girl and it was so easy! I didn't have anything except restless legs. This pregnancy is a boy and the pain is a lot worse. Im sure it's because it's the second pregnancy but im so sore. Im a lot more emotional and hormonal with this one. My feet swell they didn't do that with my daughter. His kicks feel a lot stronger like he is going to pop out of my stomach! Two totally different experiences for me!

Both have been pretty crappy pregnancies. This one (my boy) is HORRIBLE though. I just want it to be over already.

My pregnancies were also opposite. With DD I had acne, back to back UTI's, she kicked so strong I got bruises, I became anemic, and she was super mega active. With DS my skin was awesome, no UTIs, he was super mellow, and no anemia.
His labor was way easier too.

omg heartburn yes i forgot to mention that and thats my worst symptom...it hurts SO bad all the time! Im not sure i believe in different symptoms = different gender either but in my epx. i cannot tell you it isnt true either haha. I do know, though, that she is a lot stronger and more.... aggressive....than my boys and my doc said that one is true...some people do get very strong kicks from boys but they said girls are stronger than boys in the uterus. Which is funny because as sperm, the girls are also stronger but slower, and boys are weaker but faster, and if your baby is born preemie they tell you boys tend to have a harder time than girls and girls have a higher survival rate. This is just what i heard from my sister (mother of preemies) and my doctor though.

Mine was the opposite. My girl was easier. I felt like I was dying with my boy.

Im following the post. Im to early to tell the difference. My 1st was a boy and this pregnancy seems to be about the same so far (only 5weeks) but I have a lot of back aches 1st they were higher then lower and now all over. I didnt have that with my son.

With my son I had no nausea/sickness, no problems really.. some feet swelling towards the very end but that was about it. This time around I'm having a girl and I was nauseous at the very beginning (never actually got sick though), my feet started swelling at 17 weeks (which I thought was ridiculous) and I get weird leg cramps. Even the ultrasounds were complete opposites.. with my son, he was always hiding his face, always had his hands over his head. With my baby girl, the very first ultra sound she was literally waving to the camera hahah.. that's how we knew it was a girl (my fiance' said it sounded like a mini-me and we bet we had a girl ever since lol).
