Cute!
I covered the house with paper hearts that had reasons why I love my hubby.
Then I woke up to chocolates and a sweet card.
Then I got to work to find flowers, Sheri's Berries, and brownies.
When I got home we ordered a heart shaped pizza from Papa Johns.
Then my hubby had one last surprise. He turned our bedroom into a candle lite massage parlor and gave me an hour rub down.

Tonight is our V-Day dinner though. We are going to Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant.

awwe! And OT, but I've been wanting to try Melting Pot forever (I've never had fondue)! It's like an hour away, but one of these nights I am going to get a sitter and we're going.

We didn't do anything big, but we took daddy special treats to work:

And the kids made him cards. DH and I started reading our new book together (our thing), and he brought me home ice cream after the kids went to bed and he got home from work. That was it!

The kids and I made cookies. Husband and I had already picked up cute valentines day stuffed animals for them, so they got those. Then husband made GF pot pies for dinner for me (from scratch and without a recipe because I was craving them but can't eat gluten). He also made me chocolate covered strawberries. mmmmmmm

We watched a movie and relaxed. It was a very lovely evening.

It's worth the drive. It takes about 3 hours to eat there. It's really an entire date night. Be forewarned we tend to spend about $200 each time we go lol

It doesn't matter if it wasn't big. I LOVED the fact that our Valentines day was pretty simple, because I think way too many people get wrapped up in "doing the most," "spending the most," etc... that it's not even about showing love, it turns into something else. It's supposed to be the thought, not how big/extravagant the holiday is.

When I got home hubby set up all my gifts so nicely and suprised me when I opened the door. He got me roses, bouquet of ballons, chocolates, bear, candle that says I love you, red throw blanket with a red heart pillow, a wood frame with the wood letters" love" which he put our picture when we were dating. Awww Plus later that day he took me to buy my first tablet. He sure spoiled me. I handled some naughty buisness that morning if you know what I mean. Lol My vday was great!
