They ate half of a bag of 18 cookies! And no, they didn't share. I found them (The cookies, not the kids) in the fort in the basement. And surprisingly, my son made himself disappear when I discovered them.  

Oh yeah, there would be tattling galore. I hear enough about everything already...And I seriously think he'd be happier if he had someone else to drive nuts.   Man, he drives me crazy, but I seriously love that kid.

Oh, he needs no more minions. That could get really bad...

The nice thing is that three of them are at school for the day...Which means that I get to chill with Pippa and Ash, which is absolutely awesome. We're in the midst of making salt dough flowers right now...

I think its part ofhim being a boy thatadds to the madness boys are so insanely crazy my son doesnt give too craps what i say he does as he wants but repays me w so much love lol. its insane. When it comes to summer, it's total mayhem! They're at home with me, but we have a big backyard, which makes a big difference. I keep outside with them as much as I can in the summer, and it makes it a lot of fun. We always take a trip to Skytrek, which is an adventure park. I had just found out I was pregnant last year when we had planned on doing it, so I got to sit out...  But this year I'll be back out there with them! I try and take them out on one trip a week, which is easy to do because of where we live. (Tourist haven!) It makes the summer go by way to fast. Winter means that they're all cooped up more, which makes for increased insanity.

We always do it as a family trip, with our inlaws, so my MIL will be watching her (Since she's just there to be with her grand-kids, and would never actually go on the courses or anything)

Yeah, the meals are fun. I actually make the lunches the night before, just like I do for the older three during the school week. So if we're have egg salad for lunch the next day, I'll make my egg salad the night before so I just have to put it on bread for sandwiches. Then I just have to coordinate breakfast and supper, which makes it work better. If I try and do lunch on the spot, it gets way too crazy. A lot of it is just learning how to keep things organized as much as you can, since it makes the crazy a whole lot easier to manage. Like, right now I've planned what I'm making tonight (Italian Cheesebread with salad and carrot sticks as a side) And will have the dough done, rolled out, and the cheese ready to go by the time they get home from school, because then all I have to do is quickly assemble it a half hour before we have supper...I'll have their lunches for the next day prepped as well.

And in the summer, we don't do big meals. Lots of light, low to no cook meals, like pasta salad or BBQ chicken. And take out, if it's been an especially crazy day...Subway is my bestie in the summer!

No, this is not every morning. They were just being evil that morning...It's not the first time it's been madness, though.

They definitely have their daily moments, though. This morning I found my bathroom door with duct tape all across the doorway, and a note letting me know that the ninjas had been there. I thanked my boys for that one...I don't know where they keep finding all the duct tape, though. That's the second roll I've hidden from them.

And if you have five, never let them near the glass dishes...everything at our place is plastic, because I can guarantee at least one dropped plate/spilled beverage/dumped platter a day.

Tonight I'm taking the boys out shopping to spend their gift cards they got from Grandma awhile back...They've decided that they want Avengers stuff. I think Brooks is Ironman and Charlie is Thor, but I'm not 100% sure. So maybe they'll decide to be like their alter egos and actually behave..but I seriously doubt it. More likely than not it'll be a repeat of a couple weeks ago (I was in the hospital to have Aisling when this went on), when they hauled snow onto my deck to try and welcome Loki into Midgard...  My mother in law stopped them before they could bring it into the house, thankfully.
