Charlie's 7, Brooks and Emma are 5, Pippa's 3, and then Aisling is 9 days. My version of mayhem...

Eh, sibling dynamics are complicated. Emma makes it her job to keep Brooks out of trouble (Never gonna happen), and he'll cause problems just to annoy her. Brooks and Pippa get along really well, mostly because he can convince her to be his partner in crime. Charlie and Emma only fight if Emma tries to order Charlie around...that never goes over well. They're usually pretty good, though.

Other than that, it's normal sibling stuff. If I had a penny for every time I heard "Mom! _____'s bothering me!" I'd be a freaking millionaire.

Mostly, yep. She's way too much like me...

She basically follows Brooks around telling him "You can't do that"...or will come running and tell me what he's doing just as he does it. Occasionally she'll be able to actually stop him from doing something, like the one day he tried to float a boat down our toilet. (She sat on the toilet seat and yelled for me) Sometimes it works, but most of the time it just ends up in his getting some sort of sick satisfaction from pissing her off. Lol.

I belong in a nuthouse, I think. But they're not always evil...Sometimes they're just plain awesome. So it balances out in the end.

Brooks is a nut, plain and simple. We seriously got little carbon copies of ourselves in them. It reminds me of when I was dating my husband...He'd want to do something stupid, I'd try to keep him from doing something stupid...

Yeah, it has it's perks and it's downfalls. For us, the perks far outweigh the benefits, though. Once you get around dealing with all the stuff that comes with a bigger family, it's awesome. We're having at least one more, and I'll probably cut it off there.

Brooks is definitely the closest thing to a replica of my husband...he even got the hair color.

We have a 2002 Pontiac Montana that seats 8...it works really well for our crew. We're able to put the two of the older kids and a carseat for Pippa in the back, and then one of the older kids and the baby's carseat in the second row. We made an investment in a DVD player when we bought it, which was the best choice we could've made. Travel was tough with 4, it'll be tougher with 5. We're basically stopping every 45 minutes to an hour, which makes it tough to make a lot of progress. But we make it work. As for hotel rooms, we use a website called sixsuitcasetravel.com...it finds hotel rooms for families of up to 8, which makes it way easier than hunting around for a place that'll take us all. For the most part we try to avoid hotel rooms, and will even more now since there are 7 of us...(And it makes it that much harder to track down a hotel room than when there's 6)

Ben (My husband) and I usually tagteam grocery shopping...we can manage everyone in a grocery store between the two of us...(Providing that there's some bribery for them to behave!) We run one big shopping trip a week, where we stock up on everything that won't go bad on us. If I need anything else during the week, I just have him pick it up, unless my MIL has the kids...Then I can go out and get it myself.

Yep! We're having one more for sure...after that I'm not sure. And the thing is that to a lot of people, it seems like craziness. It is craziness, but it's craziness we've learned to manage. Plus it's not like we went from 0-5 kids...We've made slow progression into our insanity, lol.

The benefits way outweigh the inconveniences, though. At this point, I look at that morning and laugh, because it really was hilarious how completely nuts they were.

Yes! Anything after 3 is madness...it was especially madness since we went from 1-3...twins are awesome, but they are a LOT of work.

Aisling's almost two weeks, and they're all doing pretty good with her...we're dealing with a bit of the jealousy that we knew would come from Pippa, since she's been used to being the baby for awhile. I thought Emma would do the best with her, but it's actually been Charlie who seems to be really taking her joining us in stride. He's been a big help for the last while, which was totally different from when Pippa was born...he is older now, though, so that's what's made the difference.

The only thing we have to do now is convince Brooks that she's too small for a lot of things, and reinforce the inside voice rules...  But they're all doing pretty good!

i wanted twins but afterseeing what one is like IM GOOD to go LOLOLOL

Awww poor Pippa i think its common for the jealousy probably why Charlie is more helpful this time unlike last time maybe also the age helps. than again its never known how the kids will react im sure Pippa will e good sooner than later. and since theyre close in age they will prob bond well.

Now Brooks lol i cant even imagine what trouble hes trying to get her into. wait like another yr and she might be his acomplise lololol

Oh Lord, I hope he doesn't convert her...lol, he already has a minion in Pippa. He SO does not need another one...I'm hoping for another little Emma...  I wouldn't change my kids' personalities, but I don't need doubles of certain ones, either. Yesterday, a certain two snatched an entire bag of oatmeal cookies that I'd put on the counter, thinking they were safe...yeah, not. An hour later, when I go to grab one...

Yeah, she'll be fine...It's totally to be expected, but it's not even that bad...As much as she has been the baby, she's also got three older siblings. She's already had to deal with the whole not getting as much attention as she'd like thing, so it's just a matter of getting them settled back into the routine of things.

Lemme Guess Brook and Pippa took the cookies HAHAHA did they eat them all? or at least share w the other 2 older ones? thats hilarioussssss Brooks def doesnt need another minion hahaha youd be in trouble. If you got another emma thou thats two trying to control Brooks hahaha that wouldnt work well w him at ALL. But they could control Pippa as well or try to LMAO or youd end up w a lot of tattaling

aww she will be fine its prob just the fact that theres a new kid smaller than her thats the issue anyway and eventually she will get over it.
