Big girl bed, yay! *pics*

DD will be 2 next month. Recently, she started trying to climb out of her crib.. the one thing I dreaded. So, decided to switch her to her toddler bed. She was quite excited and tried helping me convert her crib.

Once her bed was together, she put all her stuffies in bed and brought a book in to read lol.




I checked on her around 1030 and found her like this,   I put her back in bed, pretty sure the laying against the heater wouldn't have been overly comfy.



And just for cuteness.. her Mimi and Bumpa (what she calls my stepdad, her Grampa lol) brought her a couple V-day treats before they flew out to Cuba. One was a "Magic Towel" but it's only a facecloth

We have the same crib! I never feel like those little half-railings are enough to keep kids in bed.

I was worried about that too. DD is a restless sleeper, so I knew I'd find her on the floor at some point

Wesley is the same way. We have one of those AngelCare movement monitors, and it goes off at least once a night from him rolling from one corner of the crib to the other. I think when we transition to the toddler bed we'll have to get one of those giant mesh railings haha

She is absolutely precious. And I love her hair!!!

Haha, or tuck a pool noodle under the sheet at the edge of the bed!

I love it.. just hate her bangs   Ex's sister had someone do them and I haaaate them. They're not even on a good day, let alone a bad one.

I've seen those on Pinterest, but didn't know if they would actually work, or just be pushed off the bed under the sheet when someone laid against them.
