Gerber toddler drink.

posted 15th Feb
Anyone evr use the gerber toddler drink.?

I am looking at getting this for dd just to have around the house, maybe 1 drink of it a day or a few times a week. She is a good eater and on whole milk etc....Dr said I shouldnt worry about lack of vitamins since she eats a balanced diet and told me to stay away from multivitamins cause they were not needed for her.

I just worry and wanted to give her this stuff, just as a reassurance to myself she is getting what she needs. lol in a safe way.

Thoughts?

I'd just check to see how much sugar is in it. If its not too much in your opinion, I think it'd be okay a few times a week. I'm just not big on sweet drinks and stuff.
I give DS ( 22mo) a DHA/ ALA supplement. They're gummies so he wuvsss them. Lol. He's a good eater like your LO so that's all I really worried about him not getting enough of.

Ive bought it a couple of times. Gerber gives out some really good coupons! My kids are both healthy and get tons of fruit and veggies so I dont really think they need it but I dont see how it could hurt! Usually I keep one in the diaper bag so if Im out and dont have anything else Ive got a back up!

lol my kids having sugar does not bother me at all. lol Its salt I dont like. lol
Ya she is 1 yrs old with half of 1 tooth, so no gummies for her. lol

She eats really well, but I worry about it still. She eats 6 meals a day and 2 1/2 cups of whole milk a day, 1/2c of juice and 1/2c of water. every day. But I still worry. lol

Awh. Yeah I remember from some of your previous posts that she was a petite little thing. At least you know she's eating good, though. Us mommas worry all the time.

Why not make smoothies instead? Much cheaper, minus the additives

Yeah smoothies are a good idea. I know you don't mind sugar but its horrible for the immune system

Honestly, if she's a good eater, then I wouldn't even bother. Those things have a lot of sugar, preservatives, and they are expensive.
