cause of morning sickness?
posted 15th Feb
I ve never had morning sickness with my previous pregnancies.
I understand each pregnancy is different, but I couldn't stop myself from assuming it would be something I d never experience.
anyway, so here I am sick all day and night (why the smurf is it called morning sickness) wondering why me.
the only difference is that this time around I m exhausted. I barely get any sleep at night because of my 8months old baby who still nurse twice at night and my toddler who has night terror.
so here I am wondering if those two things could be link.
and I need your opinion. If you suffered morning sickness were you tired? do you think both things could be linked?

Being pregnant with an 8 month old is why you are tired. lol Being fatigued is a very normal pregnancy symptom.
I had terrible MS and fatigue during both of my pregnancies.

Right now im pregnant with my fourth and have hadvery little morning sickness and fatigue.. Hardly any. Its probably because youre nursing and up on the night.
Try keeping saltines and some gingerale by your bedside to sip on. Also taking fresh ginger and making a tea with honey can help. I also love refresh tea with honeh from starbucks. Always made me feel better

With my first I was tired all the time, but had no morning sickness.
With this one I'm still tired but had morning sickness pretty bad in my first trimester.

I had horrible morning sickness with dd and slept all the time. I read an interesting article that suggested the reason you throw up what you eat is because your not eating the right things for the baby and that's why you can keep some food down but not others. I think it's crap because I could only keep fast food down but it was still an interesting point of view on it

oh I know that. my 8 month old is, well full of energy just like any other 8 months old baby. I should have mentioned in my op I m 13 weeks and morning sickness should ease sometimes soon, but I ll probably be one of those unfortunate women who are sick until the day they deliver

I definitely know where your coming from. Morning sickness has consumed me. I had to quit my job which was only part time because of it. I'm also always exhausted, I have a 9 month old who sleeps through the night and I still wake up exhausted. I hope it gets better for you!

I wish I knew what caused morning sickness. And I wish I knew why every pregnancy can be like night and day.
With my 1st I had some morning sickness, but it stopped by 20 weeks.
With my 2nd I didn't have a lick of MS. I didn't throw up once.
With this baby, I've had hyperemesis, and at 36 weeks I'm still taking zofran a few times a week.
I did nurse my son until I was about 14 weeks, and did notice that once he weaned my morning sickness did improve a little bit.
