Heres how it went.

Went into emergency, triage nurse checked my blood pressure...she seened a little put off so put the pulse thing on my finger. Then they took me to a room, gave me panadeine forte and another doctor came in and took over, put me on the heartbeat/contraction monitor and there was nothing abnormal. My back was still hurting on and off but they didnt seem overly concerned. Had a look at my cervix but once again seemed confused so did a swab and it came back negative. Did a urine test and said there was protein in my urine then booked me an app for next monday and an ultrasound for next friday. Thing is they know I already have an app there on thursday so why do they want ne to go in monday too? Its not like the hospital is close so I doubt ill go on monday. 3 times in one week is way too much :/

Protein and high blood pressure can be signs of preeclampsia. I really urge you to go on Monday. If its not, Perhaps then you can ask to have your scheduled Thursday appt taken care of at the same time but seriously I urge you to go

They want you to go Monday too because High Blood Pressure and protein in your urine can be Pre-E which can escalate quickly and be dangerous to you and your baby.
It's not too far to ensure the safety of your baby and yourself. It's important that you go.

The high blood pressure and protein are indicators of Pre-eclampsia. I'd go in on Monday and also ask for an ultrasound. They can check baby's growth and amniotic levels. I went in for an ultrasound with these same symptoms and based on the ultrasound they could see there was a problem. I went to the hosptial from there and was induced a few hours later. I wouldn't wait until the later appointment. Consider going on Monday  Best wishes.

What did they see in the ultrasound?

That amnio levels were low and baby wasn't growing as she should. I realize you're not due for a while yet, and I was 35 weeks along in my situation. But I'd still imagine they'll check for the same things in an ultrasound if pre-e is a concern. My pre-e symptoms started at about 29/30 weeks and I had an ultrasound weekly from then on. I went on modified bed rest and had to take things easy. But at the last ultrasound ( when they were planning to rule out the pre-e and take me off bed rest) the levels were low and there wasn't much growth from the previous ultrasound the week before. They just decided they'd rather not wait, and induced.

Ill ask them if its urgent that I come in. As the thursday app is my glucose test and midwife app and i think they only do ultrasoubds on friday since all mine have been on friday and i know my april growth scan is too.
