goats milk for baby/toddler

My daughter is 9.5 months old and I've just been thinking about what's up next for milk. And I've heard goats milk it way better for you than whole cows milk . Have any of you mamas replaced formula with goats milk?

There are goats milk formula recipes. You have to add molasses and other ingredients for an infant so they get proper nutrition.

Right. I'm thinking little more into the future when I eventually take her off of formula giving her goats milk instead of whole cows milk.

We were doing raw goats milk for awhile there. And it got to be really expensive. I talked to my sons GI about it and he said the big fat proteins are about the same as the big fat proteins in regular cows milk. So for us, I stopped the goats milk. We are lactose intolerant and already pay $3.69 for a half a gallon.. Raw goats milk I was paying $8.50 a half a gallon. So basically 7 bucks a gallon vs $17 a gallon... Combined with what I was told about the milk proteins, I switched back. Although this summer when I can get to the farm itself for produce and things, I'm going to see if they sell it for less, because one of my sons really preferred it to the other. Sorry for that long thing.

I heard that the way the cows milk is homogenized our bodies arnt made to intake that. And that goats milk is the closest thing to human milk.

I've heard that. And as I've read a lot I'm sure that's true. I would suggest researching both. Like I did. I did not see a marked difference between the two and the cost wasn't worth it. My family goes through a half a gallon a day. Had I noticed a big difference I would have spent the extra money.

I have a friend whos son couldn't break down the formula and had to put him on goats milk and he was almost 20 lbs by 3 months old. But anyways we are lactose intolerant and with my first kids I got pregnant by the time she was 7 months old and my milk went ways down so I had to start feeding her from a bottle and she wouldn't keep anything down that was formula so one day we tried soy milk and she did great on it and she loved it. She really liked the very vanilla one. maybe you can try soy milk, it has more calicum then milk does.
