Is this okay??

My daughter has not been to the doctor since she was 1 month old. But I hope to take her soon. But does this sound okay?? She eats 2-3 oz every 3-4 hours. And spits up alot of it. She's 4 months old weighs 11.10lbs, and she's 23 inches. Do you think she dosnt eat much cause she's small? Or is she even considered small? How much did/does your 4 month old weigh, and eat?

Maybe she need a different formula.
If you ever have doubts, take her in for a checkup.

My nephew used to do the same thing but that was because he had bad acid reflux and he was allergic to milk proteins so she might need to switch formulas and take some kind of meds.

She's on nutramigen and its the only thing she can take right now. Anything milk based causes her body to be covered in hexima within hours, and she will scream non stop, and excessive diareah. We've experimented alot but this seems best. We're trying to get insurance soon to take her for a check up and ask questions.

I think my dd weighed 10 lbs at her 4 month. She was born at 8 lbs and just doubled her weight at 10 months lol. So I don't think your lo sounds unhealthy. My dd is in the 10th percentile but is perfectly healthy. Idk how many oz she was eating at the time though because we never bottle fed.

My DD was 11 lbs at her 2 month check up and about 14 lbs at 4 months.
my DD drank 4 ozs every 2-3 hours, and she spit up a lot but she has acid reflux.
maybe try switching her formula.
If it's an insurance issue that she hasn't been seen you can take her to the health dept for free.

That's kind of small. My 3 month old weighs 14lbs and my sister 2month old weighs 12lbs. And they both eat from 4-6 ozs ever 3-4 hours.

Also the excessive spitting up does my seen to bother her at all. She hardly ever cries. She's very content all the time. 90% of the time she's crying all she wants is someone to hold her hand and she will calm down within moments and go to sleep.
When your nefew had acid reflux did he cry alot?

She seems kinda small to me but I have a huge baby so that might be why lol my DS is 3 months old and 17-18lbs and 27" long he eats 6 oz every 2-3 hrs during the day then takes a bottle at midnight and sleeps until 8 or 9 in the morning.

Yeah my Baby Brookling drinks 2-3oz every 3-4 hours, like I said. She takes her last bottle at about 10-11pm and drinks nothing all night. She's finally eat again around 8-9am. I always try to see if she wants to eat more, sometimes she takes it willingly but within 30min she has spit it all back up :/ if I give her less, less often she's more likely to keep it down. But she rarely cries if she hungry, I just kinda have to go with my gut.

My niece had the same problem especially with the holding thing because laying down will cause their acid reflux to start up. I would bring her in & they will prescribe a medication for her im not sure which my niece is prescribed on but the doctor should know what to put her on & she will start eating a lot more and not have such a bad problem with spitting up. My niece is is 8 months & is still on the medication its the only thing that works for her. Hope this helps!

My DD had the same problem. Her's was very severe and because of it she was a Failure To Thrive baby. At 4 months old she was 10.5 lbs and her birth weight was 7 lbs 8.9 oz.

How much did she weight when born?

I think they are supposed to gain about a half lb per week in the first 6 months, or just under that.
