Sex while pregnant

How far into your pregnancy did you & your partner continue to have sex with it still being comfortable & satisfying?
SO & I have had a very active sex life (pre-pregnancy up until recently.)
I don't want to throw sex out of our relationship entirely just because it gets uncomfortable for me sometimes. I know he has needs, too.
Any tips on how to keep up an active sex life during this? I'm only 24w4d & thought I would be just fine up until I was about ready to pop!

I had the same due date as you in 2012 and me and SO had sex up until the night before I was induced. I honestly didn't care what I looked like or how I felt. I was a hornball at the end! Hehe.

LOL! I do get into crazy modes when I'm just craving physical action but then I just get so uncomfortable because my little girl starts kicking & it throws me off!!!

We quit having sex right after 20 wks. It became way too painful for me and with all the pain I am already in.. my husband doesn't want me to hurt anymore than I alrdy do. I think its amazing that he is the way he is. Yes, he's a man and yes he wants sex but at the same time.. he thinks its important that I feel as comfortable as possible and I think it's awesome he thinks about whats best for me and doesnt put himself first. He refuses to let me pressure him into having sex. And I trust him so yes I knoe he's not going behind my back and getting it from someone else.

Just do what is comfortable for you! I remember the craziest positions would be great for me and not so much for SO. But he figured as long as he still gets some he'll make it work. Haha

Yeah. My SO gets mad that I don't speak up during sex when it starts hurting. Afterwards, I always tell him that I had been uncomfortable & whatnot & he'd say that we won't have sex anymore but he & I both know that's not the case. I initiate sex about 95% of the time & don't take no for an answer!

We had figured out a weird position that felt amazing for the both of us but, now that my tummy is finally starting to plump out, it gets uncomfortable after awhile. He & I have never been ones for vanilla sex so I want to keep up that momentum during the pregnancy but I'm afraid that I may fall short of that!

Well you don't have to stop having sex at all especially if you both in the mood, you can have your normal sex life. You may need to spice things up. Why don't you watch pregnant porn to get more in the mood for it. Eventually you can find new positions to keep up with your sex life. Wearing sexy clothes is great and finding new places for it. Sometimes the baby kicks, but that is not a reason to stop.
