birth control 4 breastfeeding mommy

so i had my daughter 6 weeks ago,. i breast feed and was put on the birth control sronyx. i was wondering how it wored for other moms? if any got pregnant on it? or what the side effects were they experienced?

When youre breastfeeding the birthcontrol you get isn't as effective as a regular pill..you will get pregnant if you don't use protection.

but I always thought BFing is a good source of birth control..... because you don't get a period while BFing, or at least I haven't
