I am terrified!!

I had the Paragard put in 3 weeks ago. I had heavy bleeding for 2 weeks. The bleeding stopped until today. I've been having extreme cramps for 3 days now..My husband and I had sex earlier and now I've started bleeding again.

I took a dollar store pregnancy test and it was negative.

I just keep thinking that something has gone wrong with the Paragard. I don't have insurance right now, but I will be getting my tax returns next week and will be able to pay to have it taken out then.

That sounds normal for bc. I bled forever at first. Now my periods last for 2 days and stop. Why would take make you think you're pregnant?

That sounds normal from what i've heard.
You bleed like crazy with it.

The first few months I got major cramping. I almost got it taken out but it stopped.

You've just had a foreign object inserted into your body. It's probably just freaking out  

If you're really worried, see the doctor you saw to have it put in and talk to them about your symptoms, they could probably run some blood tests to check whether you're pregnant or not if they feel that it's of concern. Right now it sounds normal to me though.

If you feel extreme pain in your right lower side go into the hospital ASAP!! That's where your appendix is and that could be a problem!! Especially if it has been happening for 3 days!

Yeah it could be this and just a coincidence that it is at the same time as having the pareagaurd

A good way to check this is to lay down on your back and take a deep breath in. As you're breathing out, have someone press firmly on the right side of your abdomen and if you feel like jumping up and killing them, that's your cue to go to the ER  

I had TWO paragaurds fall out   like straight up someone ripping at my insides as these damn things came out. But I bled for the 11/14 days before both fell out. Then stopped bleeding. My body refused to take either one.

I was pressing on my stomach last night and my uterus definitely hurt and was very tender. Less cramping so far this morning, but we'll see how this goes.
