What is the number one thing...

That keeps your marriage happy and healthy? Weekly/biweekly date nights? Communication? Sex every Tuesday?

I'd say love and respect are pretty important.

Communication and our complete inability to be serious for very long.

Cooking together. We talk, laugh, and enjoy a great, homemade meal together.

Watching.
But one thing that makes us both happy Is flirting. We've been making the effort to send more flirty txts and stuff. I've also been trying to compliment him more. I think having good self esteem helps our relationship because when we're self conscious it makes us feel non sexy and it gets depressing.

I let him drink now and then with friends (even though he feels bad for leaving me home with DS) and he can watch porn if and when he feels like it, provided that he doesn't forget I'm here. I'm allowed to buy art supplies and take the occasional costly trip to Ikea and he can't complain. We're perfect
No but really, we communicate our feelings, we do things equally, he gives me space when I need it and I give him space when he needs it. We read each other's minds, we want the same things at the same time and we both enjoy drawing naked people. Match made in heaven right there..... Although we haven't been to a drawing session since before DS was born. We really should look up some in this area though!

Communication, we understand each other because we've agreed no one else would be able to put up with the smurf we've put up with, little comments that we say to each other like i was angry earlier about some stuff and he said that he thinks its cute when i'm angry and it's not towards him, turned my bad mood good. When we spend time together playing games, and small fights. That may sound weird but that's our normal.

We keep it going just by having fun together and expressing our needs/fulfilling them. Romance wise we're kinda still in the honeymoon stage so we are still learning each other and whatnot.

My marriage failed, and it was because he treated me like he owned me, and treated me like smurf every day. So in a relationship in general, MUTUAL RESPECT, personal space, understanding, patience, and a great sense of humor is necessary. Great sex is also pretty important, but not THAT important, depending on the couple.
