8 month old in daybed
posted 14th Feb
Oh I'm tempted to do this just so I can sleep in my damn bed.... She has as crib that converts into a daybed and every single time I put her in her crib she wakes up from a dead sleep... She only falls asleep curled up next to me.
So I have been wondering if I should convert it in to the day bed and buy a bed rail.. that way I can kind of lay next to her until she falls asleep..
I probably won't.... Just the thought of my bed being empty sounds soooo nice

I'm sure someone out there has done it...I certainly wouldn't trust it though.

That's too young IMO and changing her crib to a daybed doesn't guarantee that she'll stay out of your bed.

Yeah I know...
It was just a wonderful empty bed thought :-P

IMO as soon as she wakes up and your not there she'l freak out anyway.
If you want her in her own bed, toughn it out for a couple nights (maybe less, you never know) and help her learn to sleep in her own bed. Really...you'll have to do this eventually so why not start now?

I wouldn't.
Make the room completely babyproof and put the mattress on the floor. You'll be able to lay next to her and she won't be able to fall off.

That would be easy if she didn't wake up every time I put her in her crib..... She just likes to Cuddle with my boob:-P
