Breastfeeding mommas...
posted 14th Feb
This is kind of a repost and a new question as well.
I'm having "oral surgery" on the 2nd of March and I'll be "put under" how does breastfeeding work after being put under? Can I feed my daughter as soon as I'm feeling "normal" again?
ALSO, any tips on how to get her to take a bottle?
We've tried 3 different bottles and a number of different sippy cups.

I had to have anesthesia for Lithotripsy. They told me that it was safe to nurse right after, I just needed to pump and dump the first feeding.

If I can have a c-section and nurse right away afterwards, you should be able to as well. Do you HAVE to be put under or can they just give you a local?? If you can get the local, I'd opted for that instead. I had a wisdom tooth cut out when I was 20 weeks pregnant and had the local.

you can pump right away. If you want to pump and dump go ahead but not required.
As far as the bottle...dont know what to tell you. I had several nurses/nutritionist and my SO working hard with me and DS, nothing worked....finally at 11 months, 2 weeks before I was due to return to work he took it lol.

Thanks ladies!
& I'd reaally rather not to the local, they are "impacted" and it took a smurf ton of the freezing stuff to freeze my gums just to have a half of a root canal done. which scares the smurf out of me, I don't want to feel a damn thing LMFAO.
