Two questions.
#1 What is your system for pumping, storing and nursing?
- I can't seem to get a supply going. I pump and then my husband feeds it to her at night.Plus everytime I get ready to pump, she gets hungry then she like drains my milk and by the time anything comes out she wants to eat again!!
#2How do you know if you're pumpng enough milk? She eats and eats and then is still fussy, or she eats and eats, then throws up, then wants to eat more!**
**Please do not tell me to give her a pacifier cause I will not.

Question 1: I use a MiPump, use Target Up & Up brand storage bags (lay flat to freeze then store standing up in a box) I nurse on demand but have an oversupply so I have to pump twice during the night and once/twice during the day. Not really a set schedule; just pump 30-60 minutes after she nurses. I pump to get a stash back just in case.
Question 2: How old is lo? Growth spurts they eat CONSTANTLY!!! And I'm not exaggerating lol Burp every couple of minutes, then give her the SAME side she was nursing back. If you think she's not getting enough, try block feeding (feeding on one breast a couple feedings in a row) My lo is 5 months and we block feed (she also only takes one side a feeding) I would ONLY suggest a binkie IF she has regulated your milk and if she is using you as a pacy.

I pump for lo except for midnight feedings. Ihad an over supply the first three months and could easily pump 8oz from each breast every four hours. during month 4 i had a supply drop and had to use alot of my stash. i now pump 4oz from each and do one bottle for now and store the other. i store them in differnt sizes. 8oz, 4oz and 2oz. the 2oz are good for daycare or a babysitter, its my "just incase" supply. and the bigger bags are for full bottles.
