Yeast rash?

How can you tell if a rash is a yeast infection?
I have this rash on my leg and the skin is so cracked and peeling that the first layer is almost gone and when I take my prothetic leg off there's moisture crusted on it,like blood or puss  
Does this sound like a yeast rash?
I can post a picture if needed

I just put some nystatin on it

Is it where your leg is in the prosthetic?
It's very likely. Like a foot in a moist shoe all day. You could put some lotrimin on it and let it air out. Get some Gold Bond powder to dust on your leg before you put the wrap and prosthetic on. Reduce the friction and soak up any moisture.

Sorry, that's got to be uncomfortable.

Is it possible to soak your leg in a warm bath of baking soda? It dries up rashes quite well.

Might just be chafing, but if you've got red bumps with white-ish spots covering them that is one indication of yeast. If you can take a day of not wearing it I'd try that.

Yeah that's whee it is
It's right on the stump where my bone is and on the side
My dr said try vagasil
And I don't have any baking soda  
It sucks but I'm having surgery Tuesday and won't be wearing it so it should heal then

Does chafing bleed?
Bc my skin literally falls off from all the moisture at night
It's awful looking

I guess if it gets bad enough. Could also be a fungus or something. Hope you get it figured out, that sounds mighty uncomfortable!
