I think our husbands share a mistress   Mines in the field training for a month out of state.

When it comes to these kinds of "holidays" DH and I just ask eachother "We gonna do gifts this time?" and if we feel like it, we do, lol.

This year we did. I got him a movie, he got me a video game. It all worked out.

I think people shouldn't expect something huge and amazing on V-day, especially since it's not even a personal type of holiday. An anniversary is something special because it's YOURS. Not v-day.

This is what we do lol. This year we didn't do anything. He had to work late so when he did get home he had the pizza I ordered for dinner and we watched galactica. Nothing special, tis what we do most nights minus the pizza  

I don't expect anything and I agree it is annoying sometimes when people complain.

It's just another day like any other.
