Sex before 6weeks pp

I know your not suppossed to but Im not asking for permission so please dont jump at me, or anyone who replies ;)

What did you do differently to protect yourself from getting and infection or causing an issue? My bf might not be home until 3 days pp and I dkn if we can wait another 6weeks so just trying to figure all this now. Obv. a main concern is infection after the delivery... So how did this work for you? With my other kids I waited like 3 months because I was so sore or busy with the baby lol.

If you're still bleeding, don't do it. That is when the risk of infection is greatest.

We used condoms when I quit bleeding.

We have never waited the 6 weeks to have sex and we always just used condoms when we did it.

Serious questions here, dont condoms have stuff on them though (like lub) so couldnt that cause infection.

Wait until you are done bleeding. Use a condom and be gentle. I had sex at 2 and 3 weeks pp.

I'm glad you guys said about the bleeding too, I didnt think about that. Urgh I felt like a slut haha I'm glad other people dont always wait :/

I waited 4 weeks once I stopped bleeding and we used condoms. Didn't feel too good the first few times. Well not for me any way. Also if you have stitches wait til they dissolve. I didn't have any but my friend did and she said it hurt really bad

If your bfing does that really prevent preg? And will the dr. give you somerthing before 6 weeks ever? I was thinking about getting the mini pill or the ring, but i dkn if i can use either bfing & because I have complicated migraines and im trying to stay away form hormones..

You need to wait until you are 6 weeks for birth control if you are BFing so you supply is well established. Safe birth control for nursing mothers
Paraguard (10 year non-hormonal IUD)
Mirena (5 year hormonal IUD)
Implanon (3 year implant in your arm hormonal)
Depo (Shot every 12 weeks)
Mini Pill

other options would be condoms,diaphragms ect.
