Happy Freakin Valentine's

to me. 2 ppl giving me attitude 1st thing in the morning. the start the day on just 4 hrs of sleep. spent the day cleaning and taking care of DD while DH slept before starting work tonight. no Happy Valentine's Day from ANYONE and DH left without so much as a cya later. This is not how i pictured our 1st Valentine's as husband and wife and as parents...Least i can be thankful of the fact that DD has been in a pretty great mood today..

Its not an anniversary, idk why it matters so much. Just another day to spend money "professing" your love. Maybe he forgot?

I not trying to sound ride with this- but how do you envision valentines day- and did you make this known to your husband? Most men ( and actually a good sum of women) don't give a crap about valentines day

i'd be happy just to be acknowledged. i didn't even get a single kiss all day. i know he didn't forget because the shows we were watching were going on and on about it. i don't even think he'd make a big deal about an anniversary.

Eh. I would be lying if I said I didnt get a bit sad today because I received nothing, but I just have to remember that this is a made up holiday. And my husband is sweet any other day.

Both of my LO's are sick and sleepy today, I've caught a lot of attitude and dh has not said happy v-day or anything BUT I am still as happy as I would have been without all of that. I get extra snuggles from my babies cause they're sick and I know dh loves me because he shows me that 365 days of the year, even when he's an smurf I know he loves me.

I hope your v-day gets better  Just think about the simple things, because they all could be gone tomorrow!

You know your husband loves you. That should be enough. I haven't seen my SO in two months. And we haven't spent any holidays together lately because he is working out of state. But I know he loves me and he knows I love him. So today doesnt matter.

Did you say anything to him

i left my hubby a valentines present by the coffee machine this morning he had to see it when he got his coffee before leaving to work. when i got up it hadnt been touched card wasnt even open.. yet he got his coffee so i no he saw it. my feeling where hurt that he didnt even care...   didnt even get a kiss before he left or a thank you... not even a text to say happy valentines...

i'm sorry your LO's are sick. DD is finally getting over her crap. as i said, i'm happy she's been in a good day today, and i've been telling myself all day that DD is all i need for a Valentine. it just kind of bums me out because i like to make a big deal out of all the 1st's. and DD is not cuddly at all EVER

I hate Valentines Day.
It's so over rated, and just a way for hallmark and florist to make a butt load of cash as they up their prices for the day.
I didn't get flowers or chocolates or a card. You know why? Coz I get flowers, chocolates and cards any day throughout the year. I get told EVERYDAY how much I'm loved. I don't need a special day dedicated to it.
