re: Sex hurting while nursing

I can't believe he still remembers! It must have been so hard to wean that one. I am worried mine will never get off the boob.

Yeah, he'd still nurse if I said okay---he asks about once every few weeks (usually when sick or hurt)

Awww   My LO still nurses as often as when he was a little 4 month old! if we are just at home. But when he is busy playing and we are out and doing things then he only nurses for breakfast, lunch, nap, dinner, bed and a few times during the night. We did start food late so I am hoping that he will start to like more foods and less boob by the time he is 2 years old

At 2 he nursed every 3 hours or more. Usually just a quick snack and then off to run, but still 5-10 mins every 3 hours is A LOT of nursing for a 2 year old. When I weaned I HAD to let him put a hand in there to hold one to get him to fall asleep without nursing. Took another YEAR til he stopped needing to HOLD one when hurt or sick. Now it's rare he asks to hold or nurse---until I started leaking this time and now he asks every few weeks when he's upset and wants comfort---apparently I smell like the Original Home Cookin' now, haha. Kid wants comfort food

Wow I have a feeling my LO will be like yours. I mean when we are not busy he seriously nurses all day long. just like you said for a quick sip most of the time. he is 15 months. And he has started the holding of my other boob about 2 months ago.. and it is annoying!

Before he would just rub my chest.. then it turned to boob and I can not stop it
