Just realized what my OB said.

So I posted about being induced next weekend tops. Realizing she was talking about the baby not fitting... And then realizing there's no inducing early... I'll be 41 weeks. She was talking about having an U/S and scheduling a c-section. She say's the baby seems to be too big to drop into my pelvis, and some babies are just too big to fit... So this US will determine whether or not I have a c-section or she decides to induce. I guess it's still the same as what I posted but I just realized how real things just got. By next weekend she'll be here for sure. No more guessing...

Its rare your body makes a baby thats to big. ultrasonds can be way off on measurements. I would at least try for a vaginal before going right for the c-section.

  I regret not at least trying. I regret not challenging my doctors decision and telling her that I wanted to give it a go even though she though that was what was best. I am doing a VBAC next pregnancy because my Csection cause me severe PPD and it made it very difficult to breastfeed and bond. 18 months later I feel like I am finally bonding the way a mom and child are supposed to.

If you won't want a c-section, don't let her push you into one. GL!

We'll see after the US she still may try and induce me and just tell me to prepare for all other options.

good luck id ask if I can get induced and be prepared for anything how much is she estimating your baby to be weighing I was told 8 lbs and she was 7 lbs 13 oz I was told that before I delivered it was off a little bit but my first they said 9 lbs and she was 7 lbs 15 oz

Last week I had an OB tell me probably around 7 lbs. This week. "I Think she's too big to drop down." So I don't know. I'll have an estimate next Thurs for sure.

I really hope you can get a chance to experience a vaginal birth,it sure is exhausting but I wouldn't have had it any other way unless forced lol. But It's truly amazing to be able to experience the whole 9 yards! I'm sending prayers your way love! A 7lb baby isn't nothing to worry about though,I wonder what's going through your doctors heads? My best friend almost lost her daughter in January because she kind of got stuck in the birth canal,which it becomes dangerous when they are stuck and too big to pass. They told her if she ever gets pregnant again she will surely have to have c-sections because something to do with her pelvic/hips being too small and not "made for having babies" wtf?! what kind of smurf is that. And this really scared her,so she probably will listen to the Doc and go with c-sections for now on. She's all the way in Oklahoma though and their doctors are so much different then here in Maryland.

Something about my body, and my hormones. I wasn't even supposed to get pregnant. She's worried about the same thing. Saying my hips as wide as the seem on the outside may be too narrow, and close together on the inside. And she isn't able to pass down into my pelvis where she should be. Even going over two, at 2 cm she said she should at least be stationed. I trust my OB like my actual OB 110% and I'll go for whatever she suggest. She's all for going over 41 weeks, she said there's no real medical value to waiting past 42 weeks, but she was born and raised in the ages where it didn't matter you waited... Now knowing the concerns of waiting 42 weeks+ lol she said she'd like to AT LEAST induce by 41 weeks. But wants an ultrasound first to check size of baby, and then feel out my pelvic area. I'm not scared of a c-section, I'd also like to experience real vaginal delivery. At the same time. I want my baby girl out, and I want it as risk free as possible. No emergency c-section if it can be predetermined that I need one in the first place.

DEF get her here the safest way possible! Who knows,babies change your body and your new "mom body" might be made for babies! Just because you have a c-section with her doesn't mean your other pregnancies will turn out that way,so you may still get to eventually experience a vaginal birth one day! If you trust your OB(as do I) def go with what she/he says! Prayers your wayyyy Mama! I know your anxious as ever to see her!

Like I said I'll have an US and if she seems to big she'll schedule a c-section, if a good size, an induction. Either way I'll have my baby hopefully next weekend for sure.

I was just wondering if she was here yet. Good luck hopefully the whole induction Vs. C-section thing will be a non-issue and she will come on her own before then.

That would be nice. I have kind of given up hope on going on my own, and that usually when things happen. Lol it's how I got pregnant, gave up, month later got pregnant and carried. so you never know.

Thank you. I just went grocery shopping for about an hour after going out to dinner with SO. So hopefully that helped. I didn't even swell too badly! Lol.   Just tired. Thanks for the labor dust <3 Definitely can't wait to post pictures and my labor story.
