Pregnant again?

I have a 8 1/2 month old baby girl, she was born June 3rd. I wanted to wait till she was about 2 years to try and conceive another baby, but my husband really wants a son, so I kinda od gave in to him. I just want to know how difficult it is to have a newborn with a year and a half old? I was around my niece when she was that old when my nephew was born and it seemed like it was a lot of work!

Mine are 20 months and my oldest didnt care about his brother at all. He just kept on the same. It was tough, but my oldest is such an easy kid. I don't know what my youngest would be like, which is why we're waiting a while!

Shes just barely starting to crawl so I really don't know how much of a handful she will be yet :/ But shes a total mommas girl because I have not left her side since she was born. So I know she will be extremely jealous, but that's always going to be a problem no matter how long I wait. I would like them to be close in age....I have 2 brothers that are a year and a half older and younger then me and I love it!

Just because he wants a boy doesn't mean he'll get one lol... It wasn't that hard for me but my boys were really easy until my oldest turned 3 and never cried and always listened to me. I miss those days lol

Mine youngest two are 19mo apart. It was pretty easy for us but I have a 7 yr old who was a big help. Now the two littles love each other. I would not change having them so close.

Im about to find out.. My daughter will be 18 months when my second daughter is born next month. Im a bit scared about the toll its gonna take on my patience. But alot of my friends have had kids with the same range and said it wasnt bad.

My daughters are 16 months apart. My oldest just does her own thing the majority of the time. She lets me know if she's hungry or has to use the bathroom (we're currently potty training) and if LO is awake I lay her on her blanket on the ground and give her some toys to play with.

I like the idea of having them close! And he knows its a 50-50 chance of it going either way lol but he still wants to try! My LO will be about 17 maybe 18 months when the new baby comes if we were already successful in conceiving.....so I hope she'll be ok with a new sibling!

Well...I have three children that are all exactly 16 months apart in age. Yes I conceived each one when the previous one was 7 months and no I didn't plan any of them that close together. Lol. It's a lot of work...I won't lie. But my kids are all very close. They love playing with each other and I kinda like seeing them hitting milestones one right after another. It keeps you busy for sure. The only thing I hate is going out places bc like grocery shopping for me is impossible unless my hubby is with me. I know it's bound to get harder as they grow but I have heard from several people that the older they get, the happier you will be having them close together like that. So we shall see. I would say if that the route you guys want to go, go for it! But just bear in mind it won't be an easy task either. Think of it as double the trouble! Lol. I think it's funny bc my son and daughter are close in height and they look almost exactly the same so people always ask me if they are twins and I'm always like...nope, just 16 months apart and similar features! Good luck! I'm sure you can do it as long as you know before going into it that it will be more work.

Yes I know itll be work But I think that'll be worth it, because like I said me and my brothers are really close in age like that and it was nice to have my 2 brothers in high school with me And my husband doesn't want to be turning 50 when they start graduating so he wants them now....and so do I

Well then that's all that matters! I was just explaining my personal experience. I definitely think its worth it but not everyone feels the same way. Yeah that's how my hubby is too. He is like...ahhh...we will still be relatively young when we hit retirement age and by the time our kids graduate high school. Lol
