toddler having a hard time with moving

we moved in with my dad 4 months ago and vada had a hard time with it. she would always say she wants to go home. she got use to it after about a month. we are moving tomorrow and i know shes going to have a hard time with it. ive been trying to explain to her that we are moving and trying to get her excited. but she keeps saying, "but i want to stay with grandpa." i feel bad. how can i make this easier for her (shes 3).

Make sure her room gets put together first. Maybe a new toy or something extra special waiting there when she gets to the new house. Talk to her about her feelings. That you will still visit grandpa. Explain why you are moving.

When we moved from the home my son was born into, he asked to go home every night for about 2 months. They just don't understand. It will take some time. But she will be fine.

We moved over the summer so he was 2.5yrs. It helped that we bought a trailer exactly like the inlaws so he was used to the layout. In any case, him and I went by our new house weekly until we moved in and I'd take him into the house and talk to him about our "new house" and I got him excited. Him and i moved his toys over together and put his room together before we even moved anything else into the house,
