I believe ya but I bet they are way out of my affordable price range. (not sure if you were telling her or me)
I only have one kid so room isn't a huge deal for me right now so long as it has 4 doors. A small car will do for me right now. I never plan on having 4 kids lol.

And that's exactly it. For a Cavalier, it sounds about right. I bought a Toyota with all of the bells and whistles which is why mine cost as much as it did. I financed it for 5 years too, but plan to have it paid off in the next two years or so.

I called and its already sold. Pooey. :/ I will have to keep looking I guess. I'll probably be looking for a while. I have been down in the dumps completely since I found out about my car, I hope we figure something out soon so I can quit exploding in my head lol. I tried the 2003 cavalier guy and he still isn't answering so I guess I'll have to try in the morning. There is also a 2002 pontiac grand am for 2200 but its 1 hour and 40 minutes away so I'd prefer that to be like, a last option type thing lol.

I agree. It's VERY nice. It was worth more then $12,000, but the dealership was trying to take it easy on us. It was a one owner car before us and she up kept it like you would never believe. It still looks brand new.
This is what ours looks like except mine is like light blue. It's beautiful.

Oh wow! Lol. My house costed $49,000 (brand new trailer). But, it could also fly away with the wind, so I guess a car would be worth that $50,000. Lol.

Ohh pretty! Do you like driving a big car? Every time I drive my moms car I about have a heart attack because how high up I am. I am trying to avoid it but SO says if we had to get something bigger than my other car I would eventually get used to it..

I guess because I never really drove a "small car", I wouldn't know. I had a Dodge Intrepid before the Toyota Highlander and that thing was a beast of a boat. Steven has a Saturn VUE and it's a smaller SUV, but bigger than a car. I learned to drive in that car. Mom has a Dodge Caliber and my MIL has an HHR, both in which are TINY cars. I bet have a panic attack when I am in them or drive them because I have "no room to move around" and it feels too low to the ground. So to answer the question though, yeah, once you're used to a bigger car or an SUV, you'll not wanna go back. I enjoy the extra space, being up off the ground so I can see around me, enjoy the trunk space (and extra back row of seats that pops up in the Highlander), and best of all I feel super safe not being in a small car. I like the Highlander a lot.

That is INSANE! $49,000 for a HOUSE?! Trailer / house same difference. Homes around here average $800,000 for a small 3 bedroom.

Yep! Even after interest, it came out to like $69,000. And this home will be paid off in 10 years!!

... its going to take you TEN YEARS to pay off $69,000 ,,,,?????!

why so long!? that's friggin insane.. you should have that paid off in less than 5 with absolutely no trouble. i'd NEVER stretch that small amount over ten years... that's just me though

Because I only pay about $550 per month because of lot rent being an additional $500 on top of that. I can't afford more then $1050 per month, really.

I just emailed 6 people off of craigslist asking about the car they had listed. Some of them seemed like really good deals but didn't list a specific exact location nor if the price they listed was full price or down payment but I figured I better ask them all to make sure. I hope at least one of them is still available and not a down payment price. -__-
