How hard was it to walk to the car?

Seems to me like you expect him to be all nice & smurf with you when you're being the complete opposite.

Just like he could had been "thanks for lunch. *kiss* *hug*." You could had also gone to the car and been like "*kiss* it's your turn to pick up the dog smurf next time  "

Instead of shouting at him to get out the truck.

We've been together for 9 years. We started talking when we were 16 and 17 and started dating when we were both 18...We don't have any serious issue. When we do argue it's over stupid stuff. Like this.

I think he wanted you to meet him half way.. as a sign of you know.. an amicable status? He just wanted to make sure you weren't mad and possibly didn't wanted to be rejected, so he asked you to come over.. Dudes, I have come to find, are actually far more afraid of rejection than they'd like to admit

Anyway.. uhm.. re: dog poop - you're a trooper, seriously. I really think a chore chart would make stuff a bit easier to agree on in the future

No. It hadn't been raining long.
My dog is an inside/outside dog. Mostly inside

Did I read that right? Your dog goes poop in the house?

Yeah. You're right. It is his turn next time regardless though.

Yep. It was a chihuahua and he never went outside. We laid pads out for him and he always went to the pad, he was like that when we got him( though when we first got him, he did make some accidents till he was use to us ), so all I had to do was toss the pad and put down a fresh clean one daily, Its been a while since I have cleaned up poop outside and it was my ex neighbors cat a few times.

I think we will stick with no chore chart. Next time I'll make sure to have our chores done before a holiday.

Weird. Did you try to litter box train him like a cat?

I didn't. The pad thing was just fine and was what he was already use to. His pee and poop was tiny, lol

And to add, our dog is 60 or so pounds, she's gained some weight recently. So she needs to go outside for walks and to do her business. She likes to chase little critters such as rabbits, birds and squirrels so a few times a day we put her on her lead to run around the yard.

I do think you both were being kind of childish.

But with that being said too, I don't pick up dog smurf. Matter of factly my husband considers yard work and other things, "manly chores"

So I'm not ever allowed to do trash, mow the grass, pick up dog poop, or anything like that.

I can do it if I want, but he gets pissy if I do. LOL.

I don't care for Valentines Day so yeah.

Hope you guys have a better rest of the day. At least he got you something!

I do yard work. We bought a house with a little land so I could do things in the garden/grass/outdoors. I like mowing. And I like racking leaves. He does the trash, recycle. And he is in charge of cleaning both of cars inside and out. Sometimes I do mine, just because I'm home all the time and if the kids are busy playing outside it gives me something to do. Nothing much growing this time of the year lol

Scooping the poo really isn't that big of a deal IMO. It would have been nice if he would have done it today though. I was really busy this morning and washed the dog, which I hate. I hate her tail. Tails are gross and I don't like to have to touch it.

Don't worry I understand completely. That's kind of just part of being married. Sometimes you fight over the silliest childish things.
