So I'm like okay? It was your turn to give the dog a bath, but I've done it the last 2 times, including today- because you've been saying for the past week- tomorrow. But whatever. I knew it needed to be done because today is the 3rd day and we usually do it every day or two. Anyway.... I get my stuff out (it's raining) so I can get it done. And he keeps asking me what I'm doing... (numb nuts it doesn't take a genius to figure out what socks, boots, and a coat are for). And so I ignore him. And then he comes out side a few minutes later and is like- I don't know why you were ignoring me- it is your turn.

You were pissed....you bathed the dog and didnt think this was fair, but instead of standing your ground, you pissily went on about cleaning the dog smurf and then gave him attitude about it.

He leaves for work at 1:15pm and gets home at 1:15am Monday- Thursday and on those days, wakes up at 10am. On his days off he wakes up with everyone. He is a welder and needs proper sleep. He almost cut his pinky off a few months back and had to get 10 stitches in the webbing.

Hey...if thats how your man shows chivalry on Valentines day then all the happiness to you both

Okay. I was irritated. I had ignored him. But he still could have given me a hug and a kiss like everyday.

Maybe a chore chart would help? That way, he'd see what he's yet to do and etc, and you can move stuff around if he misses a deadline for a chore..

I know it sucks to be out there picking poop up, but.. maybe reversing for a kiss was his way of ya know.. making up and such because he felt a bit of an argument had come on.

Better than having it get all soggy and hard to shovel and stuck in the grass. From the sounds of it, most girls don't have to pick up dog poop? I don't know. I would rather do it when it's hard still.

I think there's a lack of communication between you two which can lead to much more serious issues. Just talk about it and figure out a compromise, ya know? Like "Okay, I'll pick up the poop this time, but next time you will do x,y,z" or something like that. It's really not that hard and it saves a fight over something stupid. Every little fight about dumb stuff like that chips away at an otherwise decent relationship, imo.

Maybe.. but he was all yelling at me from the truck. It's not that hard to hop out.

Oh I've done it plenty of times when we had a dog, but he was an inside dog. I haven't ever picked it up outside because we have only had inside pets, but I just wouldn't have went outside while it was raining to do it. I probally would've waited till the next day after it had dried up otside, wasn't it already soggy since it was raining?

yeah. But I had made a bunch of effort this morning. Met by hey- thanks for making my lunch- go pick up the dog crap- see ya later- hey come give me a kiss. ?

It would have been better: hey thanks for the nice morning and making my lunch- We can call these chores swapped-
