Math wiz?? help me!

So Ive got a test coming up and cant for the life of me remember how to do this!?!?! ... ex: 72 is what % of 120? and 24 is 15% of what? If you know the formula I would greatly appreciate your help! TIA

72=w times 120 so divide by 120 on both sides
24= 0.15 times w so divide by 0.15

any ofs is the multiplication sign
any whats are W

Part over whole = percent over 100

So like in your first example. 70
70/120=%/100

Cross multiply 70 and 100 and divide by 120

answer: 58.3 repeating %
