Shampoo question

I ran out of shampoo and I cant get any until tomorrow and i was wondering if I could use a mix of baking soda and vinegar to wash my hair? Or would that be an icky mess?

How dirty is it? You could just shower and scrub your hair then use conditioner.

It's the best thing to use on your hair!! I wash mine every day with baking a soda then rinse with vinager. It makes my hair shiny and it's grown 3 inches.

I've already skipped a day of washing my hair. I didn't know the bottle was empty until today. It's getting pretty greasy.

No, what you do is scrub the baking soda into your hair like shampoo, then rinse it out with vinegar. Then I rinse again with cold water.

I never would have done that because I wouldn't want to smell like vinegar all day. I hate that smell. Just plain white distilled vinegar? or whatever it's called.

Nope! Ive been doing it for a year almost. Sometimes I mix a little shampoo into the baking soda. But it honestly gets rid of all the grease and the product build up.

I need that! I really feel like since I got off the pill that my hair/skin have gone down hill.

Yup! Just plain vinegar. I buy the big jugs of it.

Does it dry your hair out? I use basking soda mixed with my face wash like 3x's a week. It works great at clearing out breakouts, but it also dries my face out.
Im also assuming it will strip dye out, right? I want to try it but I dye my hair alot.

No it doesn't strip my hair dye. I dye it like all the time. And nope, no drying out. It doesn't feel greasy at all anymore though. Even if I haven't washed it in 3-4 days. So I guess it does dry some of it out but it's not bad. It makes it really volumous too.

Awesome, I think I might try it. I know powder is a trick of the trade to get volume in your hair.
