Happy V day- I've got gifts!

I'm so excited, I'm heading BACK to the hospital today, but finally for good reasons. I'm taking the nurses I had in labor and delivery during my misscarriage cards and Starbucks gift cards. They went so above and beyond, I can never thank them enough, but hopefully it will be a nice gesture.

Thanks! I hope at least one of them is working today. my overnight nurse stayed almost 3 hours over when her shift was supposted to end because my water broke and the baby was coming out right when she should have been leaving and she knew I was scared so she stayed with me. They were awesome

That's lovely! As a nurse, I know how much kind gestures mean. You get so much complaining that it warms your heart to have someone say "thank you". I've gotten cards at the hospital from old patients and their families before and I still hold on to them. They make me smile!

Neither one was I shift last night. I even went right at shift change. Oh well. The unit tech said she would make sure they got it. It was kinda hard being back in labor and delivery. Alot of emotions just rushed back
