re: When is the right time?

Just an idea....so we all know babies are super expensive....so if you feel like you could wait a bit once the baby fever dies down, why dont you set aside the money that you would be spending (starting now) if you had another baby towards something like a home for you. I know you just mentioned that you just got your own place and I'm kind of assuming that you're renting (sorry if im wrong)....but why not focus your money and ambition on somthing that could help you out in the future for another baby?

No, not at that age. You're JUST becoming stable. Give it a couple-few more years. My husband is 28 and I am almost 22. I am JUST NOW contemplating a second child and I still feel I am young and was TOO YOUNG having our son at 18.

This is something that you don't have to decide now, you can periodically re-evaluate... see where you guys stand a year from now, two years...
My sister and I are 9 years, 9 months, and 9 days apart and it defnitely had its up and down sides but we are really close now. There is no right or wrong way to space your family, only what is right for you. It sounds like you are really getting into a good place now, so it really seems like it is for the best that you keep building stability and financial security for now.
