Why does my baby cry if I'm not holding her?
posted 14th Feb
I have a 6 month old who literally screams every time I try to lay her on the ground to play or set her in the swing. She wants to be held all the time and prefers for me to be standing, moving around, rocking her. Is it possible she is "spoiled"? Sometimes I just lay her down if I know she is totally fine (diaper changed, fed, etc.) Maybe she is having other issues that I don't understand.... help!

No, she isn't spoiled. She just wants her mama. I'd invest in a baby carrier, it'd be a big help.

if you held her most of the time from birth then that might be all she knows so laying down or swing might be too much of a change for her. or she might not like being so far away from you

My daughter doesn't like when I put her down unless she's already asleep

Well as long as your a stay at home mom it's fine. But don't put him in daycare and expect the workers to constantly hold him because they won't. They will let him cry.
